"Appearances often are deceiving."

Appearance remains one of the biggest selling features of garage doors.
It is commonly referred to as "curb appeal" and in most cases the garage door has become the showcase of new homes.

Here is where most manufacturers get it right, their doors look good, even outstanding and will retain their appearance and colour if not subjected to abuse, but unfortunately Canadian winters put garage doors to the test.

Lighter duty, cheaper doors are commonly constructed of lighter gauge metal and inferior metal preparation and coating.
This is going to lead to premature aging and metal fatigue not to mention the damage that might occur with contact in everyday use (sports balls, yard equipment, human error).

Higher end door products give long lasting durable appearances and are generally available in a wider variety of styles, colours and finishes for those consumers willing to spend a little more. bricks.gif
